What is Schools Aquathlon?

Schools Aquathlon is a ‘not for profit’ children’s swimming and running event which was launched in May 2012 as a new initiative for England’s Olympic year to get as many children as possible involved in trying out a new sport. In 2014 over 1200 boys and girls aged between 7 and 13 entered this fantastic competition. Over 300 competitors completed the course within the qualifying times to win a place at the National Schools Aquathlon Finals held in May 2014.

In 2015 there will be one big Schools Aquathlon Championships open to all boys and girls aged between 7 and 13 years of all abilities held at Caterham School, Surrey on Tuesday 23rd June. Every finisher is awarded a medal and there are individual medals in every category. This year there are different distances within each age group to enable all competitors to find the best race for them to do their very best.

Extreme Adventure Kids is proud to support this initiative and continue England’s Olympic legacy for many years to come!

At the 2015 Schools Aquathlon Championships there will be races for parents, friends and teachers!
